Resume

A resume is a written overview of your relevant job experience background and education to sell your skills when applying to a position.

It illustrates your experience and the specific area you worked for indicating your skills on any related technical skills and/or certification.

You should highlight your experience with any key figures to give accurate information in what your former positions consisted and the role and responsibilities you were in charge of.

The way you write your resume will tell a lot about yourself. Make it professional, simple, concise and self-explanatory. It will be about 1 or 2 pages.

The Curriculum Vitae has the same purpose but a different format. It lists most of the educational or academic background, teaching or research experience, publications, presentation, awards, honors, and affiliations. It is usually longer than a resume, depending your experience.
